I absolutely adore this clip. I have very thick, curly hair and I normally have to use a Joey XL to put up my hair. I knew this wouldn’t hold up ALL my hair, but my go-to hairstyle is a half-up anyways, secured with a jaw clip. This is the most incredible upgrade. I initially thought it might not be big enough to put up half my hair, but it is! It feels sturdy too. The colors are absolutely amazing. And it makes me feel like a fairy, I love love love it. Go ahead and buy yourself one too, you will be so glad you did.
I have long, thick hair and have battled with hair ties forever, with no success. I got into claw clips a few years ago and I loved the way they held my hair up but they broke constantly because how how long and thick my hair is. Enter Acrasia.
I ordered these clips and they are incredible. I don’t need to adjust my hair at all when using these clips. I’ve run with them in my hair and they don’t move. I refuse to look at another hair clip ever again if it’s not Acrasia. My hyper nova clip broke after a couple months of use and I reached out and Vivien sent me a brand new one asap and even included a little metal hair pin. I will be buying more clips as no other clip has ever held my hair up like these have. Thank you Vivien!
I cannot even remember how I came across Acrasia (maybe an instagram ad?), but it was life changing. I have SO much curly hair, it’s both long and thick, and I can never find a clip that fits it. I tried the hypernova, and have know ordered probably 4 or 5 different clips. They are elegant and work really well. Whoever packages the orders is also such a sweetie who included a free clip in with my order twice now, and they are always cute and neutral, which matches my aesthetic perfectly.
My friends with thin hair do find the clip to be comically large, as compared to a “regular” claw clip, so be prepared. But yes, it will fit ALL of your hair.
(But sorry Acrasia, your clips withstand almost everything, except getting slammed in a car door by mistake… That’s why I placed the recent order…) :)
This is the 3rd time I’ve bought this product bc that’s how much I love it! This is the only thing that holds my THICK hair! I’ve tried other types but this is my favorite for sure! Also the past times I’ve received my order she’s given me a free clip or French pin and I thought it was so sweet :) HIGHLY recommend!!
Love these claw clips , they are the only ones i buy , unfortunately i was impatient and ordered the single spring version and it doesn’t hold all my hair considering i have really long and thick hair :( my fault but they are amazing!!
