I’ve known about this brand for years and I was always SO skeptical of it but after a coworker suggested I try metal clips I decided I’d try just this once and if I didn’t like it, I’d swear off claw clips forever. I’ve seriously broken every clip I’ve ever worn but the quality of this is so amazing and entirely worth the price! I have really long thick curly hair, like past my butt long and I had low expectations but am so glad to say I’ve finally found a clip I like and will be looking into buying more! I’m not sure if I accidentally ordered two or if it came with a free clip, but the second clip was also beautiful, just not sturdy enough for my hair and so I repurposed it into a gift for my sister who was also super impressed with the quality.
TLDR: I have an insane amount of hair and was super skeptical but Acrasia surpassed my expectations and I highly recommend if you have a lot of hair!

Holds up very long and thick hair!
I was skeptical about this clip but it does just as well of a job as the Hypernova in holding up my butt length, thick hair -- it might even be a little bit more sturdy too with it being made of metal, even without the double springs and it being somewhat smaller -- it requires a bit more manipulating to get it to go around the whole mass of hair, but once it's in it doesn't budge at all. The open design doesn't make it look as weighty as other clips too. It's a bit harsher on my scalp due to the metal teeth, but once it's in correctly you don't feel that at all.

These exact words when I opened my package and saw my hair claw! My hair is fine and curly but I have TONS of it. So when it’s wet I can get away with baby clips. But once it’s dried.. I need 6 hands to put my hair up. I’ve gone through 3 of the big clips that you can get at Target or Sally’s or wherever you randomly find the biggest ones you’ve seen. I will 100% never buy another big hair claw from anywhere else. This thing not only opens up wide enough for my hair to be twisted up and secured into it. But it stays in and it feels like how a PROFESSIONAL hair accessory should. 5 stars ⭐️ THANK YOU for making such an awesome product.

I have long, thick hair and have battled with hair ties forever, with no success. I got into claw clips a few years ago and I loved the way they held my hair up but they broke constantly because how how long and thick my hair is. Enter Acrasia.
I ordered these clips and they are incredible. I don’t need to adjust my hair at all when using these clips. I’ve run with them in my hair and they don’t move. I refuse to look at another hair clip ever again if it’s not Acrasia. My hyper nova clip broke after a couple months of use and I reached out and Vivien sent me a brand new one asap and even included a little metal hair pin. I will be buying more clips as no other clip has ever held my hair up like these have. Thank you Vivien!
I cannot even remember how I came across Acrasia (maybe an instagram ad?), but it was life changing. I have SO much curly hair, it’s both long and thick, and I can never find a clip that fits it. I tried the hypernova, and have know ordered probably 4 or 5 different clips. They are elegant and work really well. Whoever packages the orders is also such a sweetie who included a free clip in with my order twice now, and they are always cute and neutral, which matches my aesthetic perfectly.
My friends with thin hair do find the clip to be comically large, as compared to a “regular” claw clip, so be prepared. But yes, it will fit ALL of your hair.
(But sorry Acrasia, your clips withstand almost everything, except getting slammed in a car door by mistake… That’s why I placed the recent order…) :)
This is the 3rd time I’ve bought this product bc that’s how much I love it! This is the only thing that holds my THICK hair! I’ve tried other types but this is my favorite for sure! Also the past times I’ve received my order she’s given me a free clip or French pin and I thought it was so sweet :) HIGHLY recommend!!
Love these claw clips , they are the only ones i buy , unfortunately i was impatient and ordered the single spring version and it doesn’t hold all my hair considering i have really long and thick hair :( my fault but they are amazing!!
