Bought this clip thinking I can use it for half-up dos, but it can surprisingly hold all my hair up - no bun needed. I have long medium thick straight hair. This clip is also super cute, would highly recommend!

My hair is very long and thick, so this is one of my go-to pieces since it has a very sturdy grip & stays in place literally all day! The design and detailing are so divine and complement the smoothness of the clip perfectly. I also love that the clip part itself acts as a supportive platform so the butterfly is on full display! If you’re thinking of gifting this piece, I would highly recommend to buy another for yourself, you won’t regret it :) I would love to see this clip in more colors if possible, I’d absolutely buy them all! :)

I want to thank Vivien for creating Acrasia clips—they are beautiful, durable, and the only hair clips that can hold all of mine and my daughters thick hair. I have thick, hip-length, wavy hair. I've tried at least four different brands. This is the only claw clip that holds my hair in place and doesn't break after a month of use. I can wear it for the entire time I'm at work. I can even wear it while I'm working it out! I love this clip so much. I really hope they bring back more colorways soon.
I love this Claw clip! I have long thick asian hair and I have never found a clip that holds all of my hair but this one does!!! I wear it while im studying, running errands, and even weightlifting. Always get lots of compliments as well too :) I"ll be gifting to friends and family as well!

I was a bit worried when the description said the hypernova is for the “longest, thickest hair” as just marketing but was very pleasantly surprised! My hair is straight but thick and reaches my waist. It holds my hair during intense training and work where I move a lot.
