I was skeptical at first. I have long, straight Southeast Asian hair that can't hold curls, is slippery, etc. But this can hold my hair up pretty well. I've bought every color.

I ordered multiple things from Acrasia, but this was my favorite! I’ve never used a hair pin before, but the tutorials on Acrasia’s tiktok made it easy + it just looks so elegant. Will definitely get another in my next purchase!

I’ve been waiting to place a order here for so long I loved everything can’t wait to make my next order!!
I cannot even remember how I came across Acrasia (maybe an instagram ad?), but it was life changing. I have SO much curly hair, it’s both long and thick, and I can never find a clip that fits it. I tried the hypernova, and have know ordered probably 4 or 5 different clips. They are elegant and work really well. Whoever packages the orders is also such a sweetie who included a free clip in with my order twice now, and they are always cute and neutral, which matches my aesthetic perfectly.
My friends with thin hair do find the clip to be comically large, as compared to a “regular” claw clip, so be prepared. But yes, it will fit ALL of your hair.
(But sorry Acrasia, your clips withstand almost everything, except getting slammed in a car door by mistake… That’s why I placed the recent order…) :)
This is the 3rd time I’ve bought this product bc that’s how much I love it! This is the only thing that holds my THICK hair! I’ve tried other types but this is my favorite for sure! Also the past times I’ve received my order she’s given me a free clip or French pin and I thought it was so sweet :) HIGHLY recommend!!
Love these claw clips , they are the only ones i buy , unfortunately i was impatient and ordered the single spring version and it doesn’t hold all my hair considering i have really long and thick hair :( my fault but they are amazing!!
Thank you for designing a clip that keeps my long, thick curls in the cutest, most-comfortable high twist! You have great taste. I love how the cellulose acetate flexes a little. It feels way more resilient than brittle petroplastics. Catch me wearing this clip forever!
This is the best color of any of their clips that I have! Super cute, good for a half up on me (I have thick, straight hair that goes down to about where my bra ends)
