For initial context: My hair is thick, long, and straight. I've always struggled to find hair claws that could handle the amount of hair on my scalp. I decided to start this year off by investing into hair pieces that work instead of drugstore brands that instantly break after a few gentle uses. After trying three different brands, Acrasia's Hypernova set came up on top for me. It is the only claw size that can hold up ALL of my hair without slipping or causing headache-inducing tightness. I am forever changed from this product, and I highly recommend them to anyone who grew up feeling excluded by the hair accessory market.

I have long and VERY thick hair. After my favorite (but still mediocre) claw clip broke again, I wasted about $20 in 2 days buying clips from CVS and Ulta only to have none of them fit my hair. I found Arcasia on a simple google search and at first the price seemed kinda high, but I realized I’d already spent that on crummy clips so if these were decent, it would be worth it. I don’t want to be dramatic but when I clipped my hair the first time I almost cried. I always have to redo my hair 10 times every day because it starts to fall out and the clips don’t hold. Today, I spent 3 hours driving, 4 hours at the beach, looked after my kids and have still not had to redo my clip. I am a loyal customer forever.
